Venezuelan Figure Accused Of Graft

Mr Rosale, who ran against Mr Chvez in 2006 presidential elections, denied any illicit. The figure, Manuel Rosale, was accused of alleged illicit enrichment during his two terms as governor of oil-rich Zulia State. Venezuelan prosecutors formally charged a leading opposition figure with corruption on Thursday, as President Hugo Chvez pushed forward with plans for a referendum to end term limits. The offense is punishable by 3 to 10 years in prison.
